Ridge-top roads
Many routes in Wildwood follow the crests of wooded hills, so the street lines curve and branch like tree limbs instead of meeting at right angles.

Wildwood Map Poster & Print
Wildwood is one of the larger municipalities in St. Louis County by area, yet one of the least densely built. From above it reads less like a city than like a network of lanes following ridgelines and creek bottoms, with subdivisions tucked into clearings and long stretches of forest between them. Manchester Road runs through it, giving the map one of its few firm, continuous lines.
The city was incorporated in 1995, when residents chose to form a municipality largely to guide how the land would be developed. That intention is visible in the street pattern: a compact, walkable town centre near the junction of Manchester Road and Route 109, and elsewhere large lots, conservation land and roads that bend with the terrain rather than following a grid.
Large protected areas give the map its quiet expanses. Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park and Rockwoods Reservation both lie within the city, their trails drawn as fine threads through open space. A Wildwood map poster captures that balance of sparse roads and open ground, which is what makes the place feel so different from the denser suburbs to the east.

Babler State Park
A large state park inside the city limits, its looping drives and trails form one of the most recognisable shapes on the map.
Town centre
Near Manchester Road and Route 109, a planned walkable centre shows as a tighter cluster of short blocks, in clear contrast to the open land around it.

Zašto Wildwood
Mapa koja nešto znači
People who live among these hills often speak of the quiet, the trails and the drives through the trees. A print of Wildwood turns that into something you can keep on a wall, with the parks and winding lanes rendered in fine black lines on a clean ground.
You can set your own title and subtitle, add a date such as the year you moved in, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download HD files for $9 or order a matte print.
