Mapa
Wudong Map Poster & Print
Wudong is a town in the municipality of Chongqing, in the eastern part of the Sichuan Basin. The region is known for its parallel ridges, long folds of hill running northeast to southwest with farmed valleys between them. From above, the town appears as a compact cluster where valley roads meet, surrounded by a patchwork of small fields, ponds and winding lanes.
Little of the land here is truly flat, and the map records that everywhere. Roads bend to avoid slopes, footpaths climb between terraces, and ponds and small reservoirs dot the valley floors where rice and vegetables grow. The pattern is typical of rural Chongqing, yet every town sits differently within the folds, which gives each map its own shape.
A Wudong map poster suits someone with family ties to this part of Chongqing, or anyone drawn to maps where the terrain does the drawing. The town's streets form a dense centre, and the countryside around it is traced in fine, meandering lines that look almost hand-drawn in the Paper and Sand styles.

Terraced countryside
Around the town, small irregular fields and terraces give the map a fine texture, broken by ponds and narrow lanes that follow the slopes.
Compact centre
The built-up area gathers tightly where valley roads converge. This gives the poster a clear focal point against the open, rolling farmland around it.
