Mapa
Yuanshang Map Poster & Print
Yuanshang lies in eastern Shandong, on the Jiaodong Peninsula, within the wider area administered from Qingdao. It is an inland town, away from the coast, set in a landscape of farmland, villages and gently rolling ground. From above, the settlement appears as a compact cluster of streets surrounded by fields, with roads connecting it to neighbouring towns across the plain.
The street pattern is straightforward, with main roads crossing near the centre and blocks of housing and workshops arranged between them. Around the edges, the plan gives way to the strips of cultivated land and the scattered forms of nearby villages. The contrast between the tight centre and the loose rural pattern around it is what gives this map its character.
A Yuanshang map poster is a quiet, personal piece. It shows the town as it really is from above: a working community in open country, linked by roads to the rest of the peninsula. For families with roots here, or those now living in Qingdao and further away, it keeps the shape of home within reach.

Village patterns
Nearby villages appear as small clusters of streets scattered across the countryside, echoing the shape of the town itself at a much smaller scale.
Open farmland
Fields surround the built area on all sides, giving the poster a light, open border that sets off the denser centre and its grid of blocks.
