Valley-floor centre
The densest streets occupy the flattest ground, forming a tight, irregular cluster that anchors the composition and stands out sharply against the open slopes around it.

Mapa
Zishui Map Poster & Print
Zishui lies in the mountainous north-east of Chongqing Municipality, where flat ground is scarce and every settlement has to negotiate with slopes. On a map the town appears as a compact knot of streets gathered where the valley opens slightly, with roads bending to follow the terrain rather than any grid. Beyond the centre the drawing quickly thins into hillsides, scattered hamlets and narrow lanes climbing toward the ridges.
That tension between a dense core and an almost empty surrounding gives a Zishui map poster its character. The built-up area looks like sediment settled at the bottom of a basin, while the roads leaving town trace long, looping lines across the paper. In black and white the pattern becomes calm and graphic, closer to a pen drawing of the landscape than to a navigation chart.
For people with family roots in this part of Chongqing, the town is often remembered through a handful of streets, a market, a stretch of riverbank and the road toward the larger district centres. A poster holds those places together in one frame, showing how close everything sits and how firmly the surrounding hills define the edges of daily life.

Contour-hugging roads
Roads leaving town bend again and again to hold a steady gradient, producing switchbacks and long curves that become the most expressive lines on the finished poster.
Hillside hamlets
Small groups of buildings appear along lanes and ridges beyond the centre, a light scatter of marks typical of rural settlement in the mountains of Chongqing.
