Arlington Map Poster & Print
Arlington lies in the middle of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, and its map shows the typical pattern of a North Texas city that grew with the car. Long arterial roads divide the land into large squares, and within each square residential streets curl into cul-de-sacs and loops. Interstate 30 crosses the north of the city and Interstate 20 the south, framing the urban core.
The West Fork of the Trinity River runs along the northern edge, bordered by the long green corridor of River Legacy Park. To the west, Lake Arlington spreads across the map as a broad body of water. The University of Texas at Arlington occupies a compact campus near downtown, its blocks and quads forming a tighter pattern than the surrounding suburbs.
Arlington is home to an entertainment district that includes AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers, and Six Flags Over Texas. On a map these venues appear as large, clear shapes surrounded by parking. An Arlington map poster turns a car-shaped city into a surprisingly graphic design of loops, straight arterials and open water.

Lake Arlington
A reservoir on the western side of the city, drawn as a broad, irregular body of water that balances the dense street pattern elsewhere.
River Legacy Park
A long band of parkland follows the West Fork of the Trinity River along the northern edge, a quiet green seam across the top of the map.
