Downtown grids
Several street grids meet downtown at different angles, a legacy of the railroads that founded the city. From above the collision reads as a lively geometric knot.

Atlanta Map Poster & Print
Atlanta began as a railroad terminus rather than a river port, and the map still shows it. Instead of one tidy grid, several grids meet at odd angles where rail lines once converged downtown, and Peachtree Street follows a ridge north through Midtown and Buckhead. The Downtown Connector carries two interstates through the middle, and Interstate 285, the Perimeter, loops around the metropolitan core.
Between those big lines are neighbourhoods of curving residential streets, broken by green spaces such as Piedmont Park and by the Atlanta BeltLine, a trail and park corridor built along a former railway ring around the inner city. Hartsfield-Jackson, one of the busiest airports in the world, spreads its long parallel runways across the southern edge.
The city is the birthplace of Martin Luther King Jr. and hosted the 1996 Summer Olympic Games, and both chapters have left places on the map, from Sweet Auburn to Centennial Olympic Park. An Atlanta map poster turns all of this into a layered drawing where highways, rail corridors and quiet streets each carry their own weight.

The Perimeter
Interstate 285 forms a wide loop around the city's core. Locals describe places as inside or outside the Perimeter, and on a wider framing the ring becomes a strong frame of its own.
BeltLine corridor
The BeltLine follows old rail rights-of-way in a loop around the inner neighbourhoods, linking parks and trails. On the poster it traces a thin, continuous curve through the street pattern.

Kwa nini Atlanta
Ramani yenye maana
Atlanta maps are hung by people who moved here for work and stayed, by those who grew up inside the Perimeter, and by anyone who remembers the Olympic summer. The street pattern is unusual enough to feel personal even at a glance.
Name the poster after your neighbourhood, add a year in the subtitle, and set the coordinates to a specific address. Five styles are available, including the dark Noir and the technical Blueprint, as $9 digital files or matte prints shipped from a nearby partner.
