Bela Cruz Map Poster & Print
Bela Cruz is a municipality in the north of Ceará, in Brazil's Northeast, a short distance inland from the Atlantic coast. The region is low and fairly flat, a semi-arid coastal plain where farmland, scrub and stands of carnaúba palm, the tree that has long supplied Ceará with wax, stretch between towns connected by long, straight roads.
From above, the town itself is compact. Its centre follows the loose grid typical of small towns in the Northeast, with blocks gathering closely around a central area and then thinning toward the edges, where the pattern gives way to lots and rural paths. Beyond, the land opens into a quiet mosaic of fields and open country.
A Bela Cruz map poster is a simple, honest portrait of a small place: a modest grid, the roads that tie it to neighbouring towns and the open country around it. There are no dramatic landmarks to announce, and none are needed. For people from Bela Cruz, or with family in northern Ceará, the familiar shape of the streets carries its own meaning.

Coastal plain
The surrounding country is low and level, part of the plain that runs toward Ceará's Atlantic shore, so roads cross it in long, direct lines between settlements.
Rural edges
Beyond the last streets, fields, tracks and palm-dotted land fill the frame, leaving generous white space around the town on the finished poster.
