Bergeijk is a municipality in the Kempen, the sandy southern corner of North Brabant close to the Belgian border. Its main settlement is not a single compact village. It stretches along the roads in a long ribbon, with neighbourhoods such as 't Hof and Weebosch following one another. Together with Westerhoven, Riethoven and Luyksgestel, it forms a loose network of villages across open countryside.
Between these settlements the map fills with farmland, woodland and heath, crossed by small streams and straight lanes.
