Bowling Green Map Poster & Print
Bowling Green sits in south-central Kentucky, on rolling karst country near the Barren River. From above, the old downtown forms a tight grid around Fountain Square Park, the town's historic centre. Western Kentucky University occupies a prominent hill just to the south, where its winding campus roads stand out against the straight streets below. Newer development stretches out along highways and the interstate.
The city is home to the only assembly plant for the Chevrolet Corvette, and the National Corvette Museum sits beside it near Interstate 65. Mammoth Cave National Park, with the longest known cave system in the world, is a short drive north, and the limestone that shapes it also creates sinkholes and underground drainage around Bowling Green.
A Bowling Green map poster shows the square, the hill, the river and the newer roads spreading into farmland. It captures a town that is both a university centre and an industrial one, and the contrast between the grid downtown and the curving campus makes it an easy map to read on the wall.

The Hill campus
Western Kentucky University's campus climbs a hill south of downtown, and its curving paths and roads contrast with the straight streets around it.
Barren River
The river curves along the northern side of the city, drawing a soft, winding line at the edge of the street network.
