Camden Map Poster & Print
Camden lies on the eastern bank of the Delaware River, directly across from Philadelphia. From above, the city is made of several street grids that meet at slight angles. The waterfront lies to the west, the Cooper River winds through the eastern side and major highways cut through the neighbourhoods. The Benjamin Franklin Bridge lands in the city and gives the map its most striking diagonal.
Camden has a significant industrial past, including shipbuilding and the Victor Talking Machine Company, later RCA Victor, and it has long been home to Campbell Soup. The poet Walt Whitman spent his final years here, and his house is preserved as a museum. Today the waterfront includes an aquarium and the Battleship New Jersey.
A Camden map poster shows a city defined by water and connection. The river edge, the bridge approaches and the tight grids of rowhouse streets make a detailed, graphic design. Philadelphia's shoreline sits just across the water, a reminder of how closely the two cities have always been tied.

Delaware waterfront
The western edge of the city follows the river. Piers, parks and former industrial land form an irregular shoreline opposite central Philadelphia.
Cooper River
The Cooper River winds through the eastern part of the city toward the Delaware. Its soft, curving line contrasts with the straight streets around it.
