Chāmpa is a town in the Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh, set on the plains of central India beside the Hasdeo River. It is a station on the main railway line between Howrah and Mumbai, and the rail corridor cuts decisively through the map, separating districts and gathering roads towards its crossings.
