Cherepanovo Map Poster & Print
Cherepanovo lies in the south of Novosibirsk Oblast, on the railway between Novosibirsk and Barnaul. Like many towns in western Siberia, it grew up around a station, and the map makes that origin plain. The rail line runs straight across the landscape, and the town's streets form a regular grid of long rectangular blocks laid out beside it.
Much of the town is made up of low detached houses with gardens, so the blocks read as open and airy, not dense. Around the edges, fields and patches of woodland typical of the forest-steppe take over, and roads head out across the flat country toward neighbouring villages and the regional centres to the north and south.
A Cherepanovo map poster has a clean, almost diagrammatic look: parallel streets, right-angled corners and a single dominant rail axis. It suits people who appreciate order and simplicity, and it records the shape of a town built for and by the railway.

Rectangular blocks
Streets meet at right angles in a regular grid of elongated blocks, giving the poster a calm, orderly rhythm.
Forest-steppe edge
Beyond the last houses, fields and scattered woodland open out, and the grid ends cleanly against the surrounding countryside.
