The Parnaíba border
The Parnaíba River runs along the town's edge and marks the boundary with the neighbouring state of Piauí, giving the poster a strong curved edge of open water.

Coelho Neto Map Poster & Print
Coelho Neto sits in eastern Maranhão, on the bank of the Parnaíba River, which here forms the border between Maranhão and Piauí. From above, the river is the first thing you see: a broad, curving band that holds the town in place on one side, while the streets spread inland away from the water.
The urban pattern is mostly regular blocks laid out in a loose grid, typical of towns in the Brazilian northeast that grew along a river and a main road. Toward the edges the blocks thin out and roads run off into open country, where the map shows long straight tracks, scattered lots and the winding lines of smaller streams feeding the Parnaíba.
A Coelho Neto map poster works because the composition is simple and strong. One heavy natural line, the river, meets the fine texture of the town, and in black and white that contrast reads clearly. It is a quiet, honest portrait of a riverside town rather than a crowded city plan.

Riverside grid
Regular street blocks run back from the water, a compact grid that looks orderly and even from above against the loose shapes of the river and surrounding land.
Roads into the country
On the outskirts, long straight roads and tracks leave the town and cross open land, thinning the dense centre into sparse lines at the poster's margins.

Kwa nini Coelho Neto
Ramani yenye maana
For people from Coelho Neto, or anyone with family along the Parnaíba, the map shows the town as it is lived: the river, the familiar blocks and the roads out of town. It suits a home office, a hallway or a gift for someone who moved away.
You can add your own title, a subtitle such as a family name or a date, and the coordinates line, then choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The HD digital files cost $9, and printed posters with an optional wooden frame are also available.
