Dania Beach occupies a narrow slice of Broward County between Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood. From above, the town reads as a series of north–south bands: the Atlantic beach and pier, the Intracoastal Waterway, the older town grid along Federal Highway, and inland neighbourhoods threaded with canals.
