Thermal baths
The hot springs lie close to the town centre, and the bathhouses around them form one of the oldest fixed points in Havza's street pattern.

Havza Map Poster & Print
Havza lies inland from the Black Sea coast in Samsun Province, on the route that has long linked the port of Samsun with the Anatolian interior. From above, the town is compact. Its denser core of irregular streets gives way to newer, more regular blocks toward the edges. Beyond them, the map opens into fields and gently rising, partly wooded ground.
Havza is known across Turkey for two things. Its thermal springs have been used since antiquity, and old bath buildings still stand near the centre. In 1919, Mustafa Kemal stayed here for several weeks after landing at Samsun. From Havza he issued a circular calling for nationwide protest against the occupation, and it is counted among the first steps of the War of Independence.
A Havza map poster suits a town of this scale. The whole town fits comfortably in the frame, so the line of the main road, the tight knot of the old centre and the spread of newer housing can all be read at once. It is a small, legible map with a considerable weight of history behind it.

Road to the interior
The main road between the coast and inland Anatolia runs through town as a long, clear line. Much of Havza's commercial life is gathered along it.
Old centre
Narrow, irregular streets cluster around the core. Their grain is denser and more organic than the regular residential blocks added on the outskirts in recent decades.

Kwa nini Havza
Ramani yenye maana
Havza means different things to different people: a spa town, a stop on a family drive to the coast, or a name from school history lessons. A map holds all of these without needing to choose between them. It works well in a living room or an office where people stop to look.
Replace the title and subtitle with your own words, or set the coordinates line to a date that matters to you. Pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. A free 900 px watermarked preview lets you check the result before buying the $9 HD files or a matte print.
