Huddinge Map Poster & Print
Huddinge spreads south of Stockholm across wooded ridges and valleys, and from above it looks less like one town than a group of districts separated by forest and water. Lakes lie between the neighbourhoods, and a commuter rail line and main roads connect the residential areas. The effect is a patchwork of built-up clusters with a great deal of green in between.
The municipality includes Flemingsberg, home to Karolinska University Hospital Huddinge and Södertörn University, which together make a large campus and hospital district. Several nature reserves cover the forested ground, so wide areas of the map are paths and shorelines instead of streets. The old centre around the station is only one of several hubs.
A Huddinge map poster shows the balance between town and landscape that defines this part of Stockholm County. Irregular lake outlines, curving suburban streets and the long straight lines of rail and motorway overlap in a way that suits a monochrome print. Each district has its own texture, from compact apartment blocks to looser villa streets.
