Itatinga Map Poster & Print
Itatinga is a municipality in the interior of São Paulo state, in the rolling uplands of the centre-west, not far from Botucatu. Like many towns in the region it was laid out on a regular plan. From above, the urban area looks like a neat block of squares with a central square near the middle and straight streets running out to the edge of town.
Beyond the grid the picture changes quickly. Rural roads leave town at angles, following ridgelines and property boundaries across open land. Forestry plantations and farmland cover much of the municipality, and small streams cut shallow valleys through it. The town ends abruptly against the fields, which gives the map a strong, clean outline.
An Itatinga map poster is a small, precise portrait of a place most people know from the inside: the square, the school, the road out to the farm. At town scale every street is visible, and the regular pattern of blocks becomes a calm, almost architectural drawing on the wall.

Central square
A central square interrupts the rhythm of the blocks. It is an open space at the heart of the grid where the town's main streets meet.
Roads into the country
Rural roads leave the grid at different angles and run into the surrounding farmland and plantations, giving the edges of the map a looser, more open character.

Kwa nini Itatinga
Ramani yenye maana
Small towns in the São Paulo interior are often where families have roots going back generations. A map of Itatinga keeps that connection in view. You can edit the title, subtitle and coordinates line to include a family name, a date or a short dedication.
Each of the five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, treats the grid differently. You can download the HD files for $9 in six sizes, or order a matte printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
