Interstate 5 diagonal
The Santa Ana Freeway crosses the southern part of the city at an angle. It is a strong, clean line that anchors the composition against the softer residential pattern around it.

La Mirada Map Poster & Print
La Mirada sits on the southeastern rim of Los Angeles County, close to the line with Orange County. From above it reads as a classic postwar suburb. Loops, cul-de-sacs and gently bending residential streets fill the blocks between a few straight arterials, and the Santa Ana Freeway, Interstate 5, cuts a confident diagonal through the southern part of town.
The city grew out of ranch and orchard land in the decades after the Second World War and incorporated in 1960. Its best-known institutions stand out clearly in the linework. There is the Biola University campus, the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, and the open green spaces of the regional park and Creek Park, which break up the pattern of rooftops and driveways.
A La Mirada map poster keeps that mix of order and curve without colour or labels getting in the way. Every street is drawn with the same care, so the freeway, the campus and the quiet interior loops sit together as one composition. That is how the city tends to feel to people who have driven, walked or studied there for years.

Biola University campus
The university occupies a distinct block of paths, buildings and sports fields. This denser, more rectilinear pocket stands apart from the surrounding suburban loops.
Parks and open space
La Mirada Regional Park and Creek Park appear as calm open areas. These pale gaps in the street network give the eye somewhere to rest between the neighbourhoods.

Kwa nini La Mirada
Ramani yenye maana
People hang this map because they grew up on these cul-de-sacs, spent four years on campus, or bought a first home a few blocks from the park. The plain black-and-white drawing makes the place recognisable without turning it into a souvenir.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding a graduation year or a moving-in date, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
