Maharagama Map Poster & Print
Maharagama lies on the southeastern side of Greater Colombo in Sri Lanka's Western Province. Its shape is easy to read on a map: the High Level Road runs through the middle like a spine, and a close mesh of residential lanes branches out on either side, filling the gently rolling ground between paddy lowlands, small marshes and neighbouring suburbs.
The town is widely known across the country as the home of Apeksha Hospital, the national cancer hospital, which draws patients from every province. It is also a commercial junction in its own right, with shops and bus routes clustered along the main road, while the side streets settle into quieter, tree-lined residential pockets.
A Maharagama map poster captures that contrast between the main artery and the fine-grained lanes around it. In black and white, the irregular side streets form an almost organic web, broken here and there by open low-lying ground where water collects in the monsoon. It is a portrait of suburban Colombo drawn at street scale rather than skyline scale.

Web of lanes
Away from the main road the streets curve and fork irregularly, following old plot boundaries and gentle slopes, which gives the poster a detailed, hand-drawn quality.
Low-lying pockets
Patches of paddy land and marshy ground interrupt the built-up area, leaving open shapes in the street pattern that are typical of Colombo's southeastern suburbs.
