Maracás Map Poster & Print
Maracás lies in south-central Bahia on an upland plateau, higher and often cooler than much of the surrounding interior. Its map shows a compact town with a small network of streets gathered around the centre, then a quick thinning into fields, pasture and scrub. Roads leave the urban area at only a few points, running in long, gently curving lines toward neighbouring municipalities.
Beyond the region, the municipality is known for a vanadium mine operated within its borders, which has given the name some recognition in the international metals industry. On an ordinary street map, though, that activity sits far from the town itself, and what dominates the drawing is the simple relationship between a modest centre and the wide plateau around it.
A Maracás map poster works because of that simplicity. There are no ring roads or dense suburbs to compete for attention, only a clearly bounded town and the country that surrounds it. Printed in black and white, the streets read almost like a small emblem at the centre of the sheet, with the roads extending outward like fine strokes of a pen.

Clearly bounded centre
Streets are concentrated in a small, legible area with a crisp edge, making the town easy to read as a single shape at every print size.
Long regional roads
A few roads leave town and run for long distances across the plateau, creating strong linear accents that balance the dense cluster of streets at the centre.
