Valley crossroads
Several routes meet in a small central area, which gives Nesttun a clear focal point. The roads fan out from there into the neighbouring valleys of southern Bergen.

Nesttun Map Poster & Print
Nesttun lies south of central Bergen in the Fana area, where several valleys meet. On a map it is a crossroads. Roads come in from the city, from the south and from the eastern valleys, and they all meet in a small centre set in the low ground between wooded hills. A small lake, Nesttunvatnet, sits close to the centre.
For a long time Nesttun was a local hub, first at the end of the old narrow-gauge railway toward Os and later on the main road south. Today the Bybanen light rail runs through it, a smooth curving line added to the older, more tangled road pattern. Housing climbs the slopes around the centre in contour-following loops, as it does across much of Bergen.
A Nesttun map poster shows western Norway at neighbourhood scale. The streets curve around hills, the green areas are large and close, and the water appears as small lakes, not the fjord. People who live on these slopes will recognise the exact bends their daily routes take.

Bybanen line
The light rail passes through Nesttun on its way south. Its long, gentle curve stands out against the tighter local streets.
Nesttunvatnet
A small lake near the centre breaks up the built-up area. Its dark shape anchors the composition, with the hillside housing around it.

Kwa nini Nesttun
Ramani yenye maana
Nesttun is where many people in Bergen actually live, so a map of it is personal. It suits a first home, a childhood address or a family that has settled in Fana, and it shows the district more precisely than a whole-city print can.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, then choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. For $9 you get 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF files in six sizes with no watermark. You can also order a matte print, framed or unframed.
