Sallandse Heuvelrug
The national park rises at the town's western edge, and its woodland and heath paths form an open, finely lined area that sits apart from the dense housing.

Nijverdal Map Poster & Print
Nijverdal lies in Overijssel, right where the wooded ridge of the Sallandse Heuvelrug drops to the flatter farmland along the Regge. The town grew in the nineteenth century around the textile industry, and the old mill sites still shape its centre. On a map, orderly residential neighbourhoods spread out from a compact core.
The town's best-known piece of recent engineering is the Combiplan project. It placed the railway and the main through road in a shared tunnel under the town, which freed the surface for a greener centre. The Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park begins at the edge of town, and its paths and heathland make a strong contrast with the built streets.
A Nijverdal map poster shows two kinds of landscape side by side: a tidy Dutch street pattern on one side and the looser lines of forest and heath on the other. It suits anyone raised in Twente or Salland, and anyone who has spent a weekend walking the ridge above the town.

Combiplan tunnel
The rail line and main road run under the town in a shared tunnel, so the centre reads as more continuous than the transport corridor would otherwise allow.
Regge lowland
East of town the land flattens toward the Regge, where fields and water channels give the map long, straight agricultural lines.

Kwa nini Nijverdal
Ramani yenye maana
Nijverdal is a place people grow up in, return to and walk around, so its map works as a personal landmark more than a tourist souvenir. The contrast between the neat streets and the open heathland gives the print a natural balance on a living-room wall.
Add a family name, a move-in date or a line of coordinates to make it your own. It is available in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
