North Arlington Map Poster & Print
North Arlington is a small borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, a few miles west of Manhattan. From above, it looks like a tight grid of residential streets on higher ground between the Passaic River to the west and the flat, marshy Meadowlands to the east. The Manhattan skyline sits just beyond the edge of the frame.
A large part of the map is taken up by cemeteries, including the extensive grounds of Holy Cross Cemetery. They appear as broad, open spaces with winding internal paths, in sharp contrast to the dense blocks of houses. Along the river, the town's edge follows the water's gentle curves.
A North Arlington map poster shows how much variety fits into a small area. There is a neat suburban grid, a slow river, wide green spaces and the wetlands beyond. It is a compact composition, full of contrast, well suited to clean black-and-white lines.

Cemetery grounds
Large cemeteries, including Holy Cross, occupy a big share of the borough. On the map they form open, curving landscapes within the grid.
Meadowlands horizon
To the east, the street network gives way to marshland and industrial parcels. That wide, loosely marked area balances the dense residential blocks.
