The Dhünn valley
The small river winds through the municipality, and roads and villages follow its course, which gives the poster a gentle, meandering line through its centre.

Odenthal Map Poster & Print
Odenthal is a municipality in the Bergisches Land, east of Cologne and just north of Bergisch Gladbach. On a map it has no single town centre. Instead, a chain of villages and hamlets is threaded along roads that follow the valley of the Dhünn and climb the hills around it. Patches of forest and meadow lie between them, giving the layout a loose, rural rhythm.
Its best-known landmark is the Altenberger Dom, the Gothic church of a former Cistercian abbey, which stands in a quiet stretch of the Dhünn valley. Around the old village of Odenthal the streets curl along the slope, and newer residential areas fill the gentler ground. With its winding lanes, small river and woodland, the map reads more like a landscape than a street plan.
An Odenthal map poster suits anyone who lives in the villages, commutes to Cologne from these green hills or has walked to Altenberg on a Sunday. The composition is calmer than a city map because open space does much of the work. It looks especially refined in the Paper or Sand styles, where the woods and meadows become soft, warm areas of tone.

Altenberg
The former abbey church, often called the Bergischer Dom, sits in the valley surrounded by woodland. On the map it appears as a small cluster of buildings in open space.
Villages among woods
Odenthal appears as several clusters of streets separated by forest and fields rather than one dense core. That pattern suits a spacious, airy composition.
