The town grid
The central blocks follow a mostly regular pattern, so the heart of town reads as a neat, compact patch against the much larger rural surroundings.

Padre Bernardo Map Poster & Print
Padre Bernardo lies in the interior of Goiás, in the belt of municipalities surrounding Brazil's Federal District. From above, the town is a modest cluster of blocks, mostly laid out as a regular grid, with the wide, lightly marked countryside of the central plateau opening on every side. Roads leave the edges of town and quickly thin into long rural lines.
The map is mostly about contrast. There is a small, dense centre, a looser ring of newer streets, and then open ground crossed by streams and farm tracks. In black and white, that shift from tight blocks to sparse lines shows how a plateau town sits in its landscape, and how far the settled area actually reaches.
A Padre Bernardo map poster keeps the drawing honest and simple: street lines, the traces of water and the empty spaces between them. The town takes its name from a priest, as many towns in the Brazilian interior do. That quiet origin suits a map that works through restraint instead of decoration.

Roads to the plateau
Routes run out of town across the central Brazilian plateau, connecting Padre Bernardo with the wider region around the Federal District.
Cerrado openness
Beyond the last streets the map opens into cerrado country, where streams and scattered tracks replace the city blocks and leave plenty of white space.
