Passau Map Poster & Print
Passau is known as the City of Three Rivers. The Danube arrives from the west, the Inn from the south and the small Ilz from the north, and all three meet at the edge of the old town. On a map, the historic centre fills a narrow peninsula between the Danube and the Inn. Its streets are packed tightly along a ridge that ends in a sharp point at the confluence.
The skyline is dominated by St. Stephen's Cathedral, a Baroque church whose organ is among the largest in any cathedral in the world. Across the Danube, the fortress of Veste Oberhaus sits on a steep wooded hill and looks down over the peninsula. The Inn's water is lighter in colour than the Danube's, so the confluence is visibly two-toned. The poster shows it as lines.
Being on the water has its costs: Passau has been hit by severe floods, most recently in 2013. A Passau map poster shows the town at its most recognisable, with three rivers, a slender old town between them and bridges and slopes leading to the neighbourhoods on the other banks. Few European towns have such a clear shape from above.

Kwa nini Passau
Ramani yenye maana
Passau is a natural choice for former students, river cruise passengers and people from Lower Bavaria. The three rivers make the poster instantly recognisable, even without a single street name.
You can edit the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example to mark the confluence or a wedding date. Choose from five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, all of which suit the river lines.
