Qaraçuxur Map Poster & Print
Qaraçuxur is a settlement in the Surakhani district of Baku, on the Absheron Peninsula east of the city centre. Its map is typical of this part of the capital: residential streets and apartment blocks sit alongside industrial land, rail lines and the open, worked ground of oil extraction that has shaped the peninsula for more than a century.
Absheron is one of the oldest oil-producing areas in the world, and the landscape around Qaraçuxur still carries that history in the form of well sites, pipelines and service roads. Shallow lakes, some of them salty, are scattered across the peninsula, and they appear on a map as irregular pale shapes between the built-up districts.
A Qaraçuxur map poster records a place that is neither city centre nor countryside, but a working edge of Baku with its own character. It is a meaningful piece for residents, for families who have lived here for generations, and for anyone interested in how industry shapes the form of a city.

Absheron lakes
Shallow lakes nearby break up the built area with soft, uneven outlines that read clearly as open shapes on a black-and-white print.
