Rāghogarh lies in Guna district, in the north of Madhya Pradesh. The town is spread over gently rolling ground, and its older part is gathered close to the fort that gives it historical weight. From above, the streets form an irregular cluster with lanes that curve around the rising ground.
Outside the old centre, newer roads and residential areas extend toward the main highways, and farmland surrounds the town on most sides. Water bodies and seasonal streams add a few soft shapes to an otherwise open landscape, while the fort area remains the densest and most distinctive part of the map.
