Sachsenheim Map Poster & Print
Sachsenheim lies in the Ludwigsburg district of Baden-Württemberg, north-west of Stuttgart, in rolling countryside of vineyards, orchards and arable land. The town is made up of several former villages, including Großsachsenheim and Kleinsachsenheim, each with its own compact centre. On a map they appear as a group of distinct settlements linked by country roads, rather than a single continuous town.
The centre of Großsachsenheim is marked by its Wasserschloss, a moated castle that today houses the town hall. Around it the old streets curve in a tight, irregular pattern, while newer residential areas spread in more regular blocks toward the fields. A railway line crosses the area, and small streams run through the valleys between the villages.
A Sachsenheim map poster shows this cluster of villages as a single composition, with the castle centre, the connecting roads and the open land in between. It is a good choice for people who live in any of the town's districts, and for those who want a map that reflects the loose, village-based structure of the country north of Stuttgart.

Village cluster
Sachsenheim's districts sit apart from one another, each a compact knot of streets, giving the map a pattern of separate islands linked by roads.
Vineyard slopes
Between the villages lie vineyards, orchards and fields, which appear on the poster as open ground that frames each settlement and emphasises the rural setting.
