Tradate Map Poster & Print
Tradate is a town in the province of Varese, in Lombardy, on the rolling ground between the pre-Alpine lakes and the Milan plain. Its map shows a historic centre of irregular streets that grew along an old route north toward Varese, surrounded by later residential districts and small industrial areas that spread outward in looser, more regular blocks.
The railway line between Saronno and Varese runs through the town, a steady line across the map, with the station close to the centre. Several frazioni, the smaller outlying districts typical of Italian municipalities, sit around the main town, each with its own small knot of streets connected to the centre by local roads.
The most distinctive feature is the woodland. Tradate borders the Parco Pineta di Appiano Gentile e Tradate, a regional park of pine and mixed forest covering a large area to the east. A Tradate map poster shows the town's streets pressed against this green expanse, which appears as a broad, calm field crossed by paths.
