Tuensang is the headquarters of one of the eastern districts of Nagaland, in the hills close to the border with Myanmar. It is home to several Naga communities, and the town serves as a hub for trade, schooling and administration for a wide area of scattered hill villages.
The terrain shapes everything on the map.
