Ungaran Map Poster & Print
Ungaran lies just south of Semarang in Central Java, where the coastal lowlands begin to climb toward the volcanic massif of Mount Ungaran. It is the administrative centre of Semarang Regency. On the map, the town stretches along the main road and toll road that lead inland toward Salatiga and Surakarta, and streets branch off onto the rising ground.
The land rises steadily toward the mountain, so slopes and small valleys shape the street pattern instead of a regular grid. Neighbourhoods follow the contours, and between them the map shows green patches of gardens, fields and plantations. Higher up, the ground is more open, cut by winding roads that lead to cooler hill villages.
An Ungaran map poster shows a town between the metropolitan edge of Semarang and the highlands of Central Java. The dense corridor along the main road contrasts with the looser, organic texture of the hillsides around it. This gives the composition a clear direction, from the busy lowland toward the quiet mountain.

Main road corridor
The road and toll road from Semarang run through the town. Along them lies the densest strip of buildings, which forms the main axis of the map.
Hillside fields
Gardens, plantations and small fields surround the built-up area and add an irregular, finely textured pattern at the edges of the poster.
