Vila Galvão Map Poster & Print
Vila Galvão is a district of Guarulhos, the large city on the north-eastern side of Greater São Paulo. From above it looks like a compact patchwork of short blocks and gently curving streets laid over rolling ground. Houses, small shops and apartment buildings fill it almost edge to edge. On its western side it meets the São Paulo city limit, and one street pattern runs straight into the next.
The district grew as the metropolitan area spread steadily northward, and its layout shows that history. Fragments of older grids meet later infill that bends around slopes and stream lines. Further north the built-up area thins toward the forested hills that frame this side of the region, which gives the map a clear edge where the streets end and open green begins.
A Vila Galvão map poster suits someone who knows the district at street level: where to catch the bus, which corner has the bakery, and how the hills turn a short walk into a climb. Drawn in fine black lines, the neighbourhood becomes a study in density. That kind of urban texture only shows when every street is drawn at the same weight.

Hillside streets
Streets bend and fork to follow the rolling ground. The result is irregular blocks and short dead ends that give the map a loose, hand-drawn rhythm.
Green northern edge
To the north the housing gives way to wooded hills, so the poster has a natural border where dense linework meets open, quiet space.
