Railway diagonal
The line running north-east from Warsaw crosses the town at an angle, splitting the street network into two halves that meet near the station.

Zielonka Map Poster & Print
Zielonka lies just north-east of Warsaw, in the Mazovia region, and its name, which suggests greenery, suits it well. On a map the town appears as a loose web of residential streets set among large patches of woodland. Plots are generous, blocks are irregular, and the built-up area thins gradually into forest rather than ending at a hard edge.
The town grew as a settlement of houses and summer villas within reach of the capital, and the railway toward the north-east remains one of its defining lines. That track cuts a clean diagonal through the street pattern, with the town arranged on either side of it and the station area acting as a local focus.
A Zielonka map poster captures this balance between suburb and forest. Wide swathes of empty space, which in reality are woods and training grounds, frame the residential streets, and the result is an unusually open, airy composition. It is the kind of map in which what is not built matters as much as what is.

Woodland margins
Large forested areas surround and interrupt the streets, leaving broad open shapes on the poster that make the residential grid read more clearly.
Villa-plot streets
Long, quiet streets with large plots give the town a low-density pattern, quite unlike the compact blocks of central Warsaw just to the south-west.

Kwa nini Zielonka
Ramani yenye maana
Zielonka appeals to people who live there because of the woods and the quiet, and to former residents who remember walking to the train through pine-lined streets. The map shows that character plainly and without decoration.
Personalise the poster with a title, a subtitle or a date that matters, such as a house purchase or a wedding, and pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Order a printed poster or download the HD files for $9.
