The Yerres
The river winds along the northern side of town in loose meanders, a soft line that marks the original setting of the village.

Combs-la-Ville Map Poster & Print
Combs-la-Ville is a commune in Seine-et-Marne, southeast of Paris, and part of the Sénart new town. The Yerres river curves through its northern edge, and the old village sits close to the water, with a denser, more irregular pattern of streets. Further south, the map shifts to planned neighbourhoods laid out from the later twentieth century onward.
The RER D line connects the town to Paris, and its tracks cross the map as one of the strongest lines. To the north lies the Forest of Sénart, a large wooded area that appears on the map as open space between Combs-la-Ville and the suburbs closer to the capital.
A Combs-la-Ville map poster shows both sides of the town: the river bends and old streets, and the curving residential loops of the new-town districts. It is an interesting study in how a village grew into part of greater Paris.

RER D tracks
The railway runs through Combs-la-Ville with its station, a straight, confident line that links the town directly with central Paris.
New-town loops
South of the old centre, Sénart-era neighbourhoods form curving streets, crescents and green gaps, creating a softer, more planned texture on the map.
