Dholka Map Poster & Print
Dholka lies in Ahmedabad district in Gujarat, on the flat plain south-west of Ahmedabad. From above, the old town is a dense mesh of narrow, irregular lanes, and newer areas spread out along the main roads with more regular plots. Farmland surrounds the town on every side, so the built area stands out as a distinct shape on open ground.
Dholka is an old settlement with a long local history. Its best-known feature on the map is Malav Talav, a large stepped reservoir traditionally attributed to Minaldevi, mother of the Chaulukya king Siddharaja Jayasimha. The town also has several historic mosques, and local tradition links it with Virata Nagari of the Mahabharata.
A Dholka map poster works well framed around the old town and the talav, which together make a clear focal point. The digital files cost $9 and include six sizes, from 30×40 cm to 24×36″, each as a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF with no watermark. A free 900 px watermarked preview is available.

Old town lanes
The historic centre is a dense web of narrow, winding streets, typical of old Gujarati towns and very different in texture from the straighter roads on the outskirts.
Surrounding plain
Flat farmland extends around Dholka in every direction. It gives the town a clear, compact outline on the map and plenty of calm space around it.

Tanba sa Dholka
Mapa ida ho signifikadu
People from central Gujarat carry Dholka with them wherever they go. A map centred on the old town and the talav is a quiet, precise reminder of home for a room in Ahmedabad, Mumbai or much further away.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a family name and the year of a wedding, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper and Sand give the old lanes a softer, warmer tone.
