Guben Map Poster & Print
Guben lies in the southeast of Brandenburg, on the western bank of the Lusatian Neisse. Since 1945 the river has been the border between Germany and Poland, and the former eastern part of the town, including much of the historic centre, became the Polish town of Gubin. On a map the two halves still read as one place split by water.
The German side is laid out around former industrial areas, including the textile and hat-making businesses that once made Guben known, with residential streets and later housing estates spreading west. Bridges cross the river to Gubin, and a small island in the Neisse, once home to the town's theatre, sits between the two.
A Guben map poster shows that divided shape clearly: two street networks meeting at a river, joined by a few crossings. It is an unusual and meaningful composition, and many people choose to include both towns in the frame.

A small island in the Neisse sits between the two towns, a quiet green shape in the middle of the river.
Border bridges
A few bridges connect the two banks, the only places where the two street networks join directly.

Guben's story is visible on the map itself, which makes it a thoughtful piece for anyone with roots on either bank, or an interest in how borders shaped Central Europe after the war.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with both Guben and Gubin. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as a digital download or a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
