Isar–Amper confluence
The two rivers approach each other near the town and join to the east. Their curves and side channels are the most expressive lines on the map.

Moosburg Map Poster & Print
Moosburg an der Isar lies north-east of Munich, near where the Amper flows into the Isar. From above, the old town is a tight oval of streets around the Kastulusmünster, the Romanesque church that is the town's main landmark. Around it, the flat, open river plain is broken up by channels, meadows and later residential districts.
In the Second World War, Moosburg was the site of Stalag VII-A, one of the largest prisoner-of-war camps in Germany. That history is part of the town's identity. On a map, the camp's former grounds are now residential streets on the northern side. The railway and main roads tie Moosburg to Freising, Landshut and Munich.
A Moosburg map poster shows a town defined by water and flat land: the two rivers, their side channels, and a historic centre raised just above them. It is a calm, balanced composition that reflects the quiet feel of this part of Upper Bavaria.

Old town oval
The historic core around the Kastulusmünster has a compact, rounded shape. It stands out clearly from the newer, looser streets around it.
Former camp district
The area that once held Stalag VII-A is now residential. Its regular street layout on the northern side quietly reflects the site's past.
