Godavari River
The river curves along the city, its banks lined by the older districts, and gives the poster a wide, flowing band of open space along one side.

Nanded Map Poster & Print
Nanded lies on the Godavari River in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra. From above, the river curves along the city, and the older neighbourhoods cluster close to its banks in a fine, irregular network of lanes. Newer districts spread outward on straighter roads, and the railway passes through the urban area, adding a long, straight line to the plan.
Nanded is one of the most important pilgrimage centres in Sikhism. Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, spent his final days here and died in 1708, and the Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib, usually called Hazur Sahib, stands on the site. It is one of the five takhts, the seats of authority in the Sikh faith, and draws pilgrims from across the world.
A Nanded map poster shows a city organised around a river and a place of devotion. The Godavari gives the composition a gentle curve, the dense lanes near Hazur Sahib form a textured centre, and the outer districts thin into farmland. In black and white the layout feels calm and considered, a fitting way to remember a meaningful visit.

Hazur Sahib precinct
The gurdwara complex and the surrounding lanes form a dense, recognisable cluster near the river, the spiritual and physical centre of the older city.
Railway line
The railway runs through Nanded as a long, straight stroke, cutting across the urban area and adding a clear sense of direction to the composition.

Tanba sa Nanded
Mapa ida ho signifikadu
For Sikh families and pilgrims who have travelled to Hazur Sahib, Nanded carries deep significance. A map of the city is a respectful, understated memento of that journey, and it also speaks to people from Marathwada who have moved elsewhere.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with the date of a pilgrimage, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the files for $9 or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
