Railway lines
The Tobu Tojo Line cuts across the neighbourhood in a firm line. It is the clearest structure in an otherwise intricate street pattern.

Narimasu Map Poster & Print
Narimasu is a neighbourhood in Itabashi ward, at the northwestern edge of Tokyo's 23 wards near the border with Saitama. It grew around Narimasu Station on the Tobu Tojo Line, and the nearby Chikatetsu-narimasu Station serves the Yurakucho and Fukutoshin subway lines. Together they make the area a busy commuter point in an otherwise residential district.
From above, Narimasu looks like much of residential Tokyo. There are no big avenues, just a very fine, irregular net of lanes, small blocks and low buildings, broken by the straight lines of the railway and a few larger roads. The shopping streets near the stations are slightly denser, and the grain relaxes gradually toward the outskirts.
A Narimasu map poster is for someone who knows the neighbourhood from walking it, whether the route from the station, the local shopping street or the lane to a particular apartment. The map rewards close attention. Printed at a larger size, every small street becomes visible, and the texture is almost like fabric.

Twin stations
Narimasu and Chikatetsu-narimasu stations sit close together and form the commercial heart of the area, where streets become slightly denser.
Fine street mesh
Around the stations, small irregular blocks and narrow lanes create the dense, detailed pattern typical of residential Tokyo.
