Radial centre
Streets fan out from the main square in a nineteenth-century plan, creating a star-like pattern that is rare among Balkan towns and easy to recognise on the poster.

Nikšić Map Poster & Print
Nikšić is Montenegro's second-largest city, set on the Nikšić field, a wide, flat karst plain enclosed by mountains. Its centre is unusually geometric: after the town became part of the Principality of Montenegro in 1877, a new plan by the architect Josip Slade laid out streets radiating from a central square, a pattern that still stands out clearly from above.
Around the city the plain is marked by artificial lakes. Krupac and Slano, created for hydroelectric power, spread out to the west as irregular, many-armed shapes, and the Zeta river rises on the same plain. Close to the centre, the wooded Trebjesa hill forms a forest park, and near its foot stands the brewery that makes Nikšićko, the country's best-known beer.
A Nikšić map poster brings the radial plan, the wooded mass of Trebjesa and the reservoirs together in one frame. On the edge of the old town, the walls of a fortress mark where earlier settlements stood long before the modern plan was drawn. Blueprint suits the carefully planned streets, while Sand softens the stony karst landscape around them.

Krupac and Slano
Two reservoirs on the plain west of the city spread out in irregular, branching shapes, giving the map large areas of water against the flat karst field.
Trebjesa hill
A forested hill close to the centre, crossed by footpaths and used as a city park, appears as a compact green island surrounded on all sides by streets.

Mapa ida ho signifikadu
For anyone from Nikšić, the radial streets, the reservoirs and the familiar hill are recognisable even without labels. The map works as a reminder of home for Montenegrins living abroad, or as a record of student years spent at the university faculties in the city.
Personalise the title, the subtitle and the coordinates line, whether with the city's name alone or with a family date. The design comes in five styles, Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, and can be printed at home from the PDF or ordered as a finished poster.
