Oleiros Map Poster & Print
Oleiros lies directly east of A Coruña in Galicia, occupying a peninsula between the ría of A Coruña and the open Atlantic, with the ría of Betanzos to the east. It is less a single town than a group of parishes and settlements, and from above its coastline is its most striking feature.
The shoreline alternates between sheltered sandy beaches, such as Santa Cristina facing the ría, and more exposed rocky stretches along the Atlantic coast. Inland, residential areas, older villages and pockets of farmland and woodland are connected by a network of winding roads.
Just off the shore at Santa Cruz, a small castle stands on an islet linked to the mainland. An Oleiros map poster shows a place defined by water: a jagged, varied coastline wrapped around a patchwork of neighbourhoods, fields and roads, with the city of A Coruña just across the bay.

Ría coastline
The shoreline along the ría of A Coruña is indented with coves and beaches, including Santa Cristina, forming a gentle, curving edge between land and sheltered water.
Atlantic headlands
On the northern side, rocky headlands face the open ocean, creating a rougher, more fragmented coastline that contrasts with the calm curves of the ría beaches.
