Maipo River
The wide, braided riverbed runs along the southern boundary. On the print it is a broad open band that ends the dense residential grid in one clear line.

Puente Alto Map Poster & Print
Puente Alto fills the southeastern corner of the Santiago basin. From above, closely packed residential blocks cover almost the entire commune, arranged in many small grids that meet at slightly different angles. The main avenues run north toward central Santiago, and Metro Line 4 follows one of them to its terminus here. The built-up area stops abruptly at its southern and eastern edges.
Those edges are set by geography. To the south, the wide gravel bed of the Maipo River marks the boundary, and the bridge over it gave the commune its name. To the east, the land rises toward the Andes, and the road up the Cajón del Maipo begins here. Puente Alto is the most populous commune in Chile, largely because of the housing built over recent decades.
A Puente Alto map poster turns that density into a striking pattern. The fine grain of small residential blocks covers the frame, the long avenues stand out against it, and the river's broad braided channel makes a strong line at the bottom. It is a portrait of the everyday city where many Santiago families actually live.

Residential mosaic
Hundreds of small blocks from different developments fit together at varying angles. At poster scale they form a fine, almost woven texture across the frame.
Andes foothills
East of the commune, streets give way to rising ground and the road into the Cajón del Maipo. The mountains set the city's eastern limit.

Mapa ida ho signifikadu
Puente Alto is home to hundreds of thousands of people, and for many of them it is where they grew up or started a family. A map of the neighbourhood marks that personal geography better than a picture of the city centre.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle with your street or a date, and set the coordinates line. Five styles are available: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
