Salaspils Map Poster & Print
Salaspils is on the right bank of the Daugava, a short way upstream from Riga. The river runs along its northern side and is widened here by the reservoir of the Riga Hydroelectric Power Plant, whose dam crosses the Daugava near the town. On a map the water is a broad band. The town sits beside it in an orderly pattern of residential blocks, with pine forest around it.
Two places give Salaspils a wider reputation. The National Botanic Garden of Latvia is here, with its planted grounds and glasshouses. The Salaspils Memorial marks the site of a Nazi-era camp and stands in the forest outside the town, with large sculptures in an open clearing. Main roads and the railway toward Riga run through on an east–west line.
A Salaspils map poster shows the town's clear arrangement: river to the north, transport corridor through the middle and woodland all around. The layout is fairly simple, and in monochrome it comes across as calm and structured, with the reservoir giving it a strong edge.

Botanic garden grounds
The National Botanic Garden of Latvia occupies a large area of paths and planted beds. The winding walkways show up clearly next to the straighter residential streets.
Forest clearing memorial
South of the centre, the memorial site sits in an open clearing surrounded by pine. On the map it reads as a quiet gap in the woodland.

A Salaspils map might go on the wall of someone who lives in the Riga commuter belt, works at the power station, or spent time studying the plant collections. It is a local, specific place, and the print shows it plainly.
You can personalise the title and subtitle, for example with a move-in date or a family name, and adjust the coordinates line. The five styles are Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Each size comes as a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF, with no watermark.
