The Ganges
The river runs broad and slow along the northern side, with sandbanks and floodplain forming soft, shifting shapes around the main channel.

Zamānia Map Poster & Print
Zamānia is a town in Ghazipur district in eastern Uttar Pradesh, close to the southern bank of the Ganges. From above, the river dominates the map, a wide band of water with sandbanks and floodplain that shifts with the seasons. The town sits back from the channel on higher ground, with fields covering the low land between.
The town itself is compact and irregular, with older lanes at the centre and newer streets along the main roads. The railway line on the route between Mughalsarai and Patna passes through, and Zamānia railway station is an important local link. The rail line runs almost parallel to the river, cutting a firm straight line across the map.
A Zamānia map poster shows a town shaped by two great lines, one natural and one engineered: the slow curve of the Ganges and the straight run of the railway. Printed in monochrome, the broad river, the scattered sandbanks and the tight street network make an unusually graphic composition for a small town.

Tanba sa Zamānia
Mapa ida ho signifikadu
People from Zamānia who now live in Varanasi, Delhi or abroad often keep close ties to the town by the Ganges. A map poster keeps the river, the station and the familiar lanes in view every day.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps in the words your family uses, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint turns the river into a strong, clean shape.
