Saint-Jean-de-Sixt Map Poster & Print

Saint-Jean-de-Sixt sits in the Aravis massif of Haute-Savoie, on the shallow pass that links the valley of Thônes with the resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand-Bornand. From above, the defining shape is a junction: a small cluster of buildings where one road splits into two, each climbing toward its own neighbouring village, with meadows and scattered farms filling the gentle ground in between.

Because the commune covers only about twelve square kilometres, the map reads as a close-up rather than a panorama. Farm tracks thread across pasture, stream lines drop toward the valley floor, and the higher woods gather along the edges. The village is known as a quieter base for both neighbouring ski areas and for its cross-country trails, and the surrounding pastures belong to the traditional Reblochon cheese country.

A Saint-Jean-de-Sixt map poster keeps that picture honest and uncluttered. Roads are drawn as fine black lines, houses reduce to small blocks, and the open land between them is left as white space, so the crossroads at the centre becomes the natural focus. It works well for families who return to the same chalet every winter, or for anyone who first learned to ski on these slopes.
