Akaltara Map Poster & Print
Akaltara lies in the Janjgir-Champa area of Chhattisgarh, on the broad plain east of Bilaspur. From above the town appears as a compact, irregular core of lanes and bazaars. Newer residential streets spread outward from it, and the flat countryside is divided into rice fields and dotted with village ponds.
The railway gives the map its backbone. Akaltara has a station on the main line between Bilaspur and the east, and the tracks run across the town as a long straight stroke that separates one side from the other. Roads leave the centre towards neighbouring villages and industrial sites, which adds long connecting lines to the composition.
An Akaltara map poster suits someone who knows the town from daily life: the station, the market streets, and the fields that start just beyond the houses. In monochrome, the contrast between the busy core and the open plain is simple and clear, which makes it an easy piece to frame.

Market core
The old centre is a dense cluster of short lanes and small blocks, where most of the town's detail is concentrated on the map.
Rice plain
Flat fields and small ponds surround the town, leaving calm open space around the core that suits larger print sizes well.
