Bang Phae Map Poster & Print
Bang Phae is in Ratchaburi province in western central Thailand, in the low, well-watered plain west of Bangkok. The land is almost completely flat and heavily cultivated. On the map, that means a fine network of canals, field boundaries and small roads rather than a single dense urban core.
Water channels are an important part of the linework. Straight canals cross the plain, and houses and roads often follow them, so settlement lies in long threads instead of blocks. This is the same canal country that supports the well-known floating markets of the wider area, and the pattern is easy to see from above.
A Bang Phae map poster shows how people have organised land and water on a flat delta. Lines of canals, roads and plots cross each other in a quiet, even rhythm. It suits anyone with family in Ratchaburi and those who like prints where water is part of the drawing.

Settlement along water
Houses and roads follow the channels in long, thin lines. The result is a stretched-out settlement pattern rather than a compact town centre.
Farmland plots
Between the canals, the land is divided into cultivated parcels. Their boundaries give the map a regular texture from edge to edge.
