Baytokay Map Poster & Print
Baytokay lies in the Ili region of northwestern Xinjiang, east of the city of Yining. This part of the Ili valley is one of the greener corners of the region, fed by rivers descending from the Tian Shan. From above, the town appears as a modest cluster of streets surrounded by irrigated fields and tree-lined roads.
Because the valley is relatively well watered, the landscape around Baytokay is dominated by farmland laid out in long strips and blocks. Irrigation channels and field boundaries add a fine, repeating pattern, while the mountains rise in the distance to the south and north.
A Baytokay map poster is less about a dense urban core than about a town held within its agricultural setting. The main roads link it to neighbouring settlements across the valley floor, and the regular grid of fields fills the frame with texture. It is a quiet, spacious view of a place few maps depict in detail.

Compact street network
The built-up area is small and orderly, so the town reads as a concentrated knot of streets amid the open valley.
Valley road links
Roads run across the flat valley floor toward nearby settlements, giving the map a few long, straight axes crossing the field pattern.
