Bryukhovetskaya Map Poster & Print
Bryukhovetskaya is a large stanitsa in the north of Krasnodar Krai, on the flat steppe of the Kuban. It was founded in the 1790s as one of the settlements of the Black Sea Cossacks, and like many stanitsas in the region it has kept a broad, spacious layout built around long straight streets.
From above, the town forms a wide grid of large blocks, many filled with houses and garden plots. The Beysug River runs through the area, and its course is broken into a chain of ponds and small reservoirs that add rounded shapes to the otherwise orderly map.
A Bryukhovetskaya map poster captures the typical geometry of a Kuban stanitsa: an open grid set against flat farmland, softened by the water of the river. The railway and main roads crossing the town add strong diagonal and straight lines to the composition.

Beysug River ponds
The river runs through the stanitsa as a series of ponds and dammed sections, adding irregular water shapes to the straight lines of the streets.
Open farmland edge
Beyond the built-up area the map opens into wide fields, giving the stanitsa a clear outline and emphasising how it sits within the flat agricultural landscape.
